Vondelpark
With close to 10 million visitors every year, Vondelpark is definitely Amsterdam’s most popular park. Nestled in the midst of central Amsterdam, this expansive park is an excellent place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam’s busy streets.
Blissful serenity is the best way to describe Vondelpark. This charming park that sprawls an impressive 3.3 km also boasts a wide variety of looming trees, blossoming rose bushes and numerous grassy areas. Whether you are looking forward to a bit of fun in the sun (cycling, skating, walking) or just a laid back stroll through these tranquil grounds, Vondelpark caters to all visitors. There’s even a Film Museum located right in the middle of the park; check out an interesting movie (classics, foreign art or cult movies) or quench your thirst with a soothing drink at the cafe here, it’s all up to you.
